Residents of Weddington enjoy the small-town ambience of their quiet, residential community. Weddington consists of large residential lots and wooded areas in the western region of Union County, North Carolina. Secluded but accessible, Weddington is only about 15 miles away from uptown Charlotte. Interstate I-485 is located just three miles north, and a variety of state highways serve the area.
