Charlotte Home Inspector Finds a Gas Problem

February 12th, 2011 · No Comments

Recently Charlotte home inspector Preston Sandlin was doing a home inspection whe he found a plunger over the drain.  Whe the plunger was removed there was a terrible smell.  It turns out that the “p” trap was missing on the drain.  The “p” trap holds water in the drain that keeps sewage gas fom coming back up throu the drain.  Without the P trap they were getting constant sewer gas coming through the drain.  This will need to be repaired.
